Sorry for the lack of updates recently! Life got busy! I can confirm that I have recently made some updates to the interactive map, taking data from a copy of the 1975 Phone Book. This is always time consuming as you can imagine, but it's always nice to fill some gaps in the history! Well, what can I say! That was a task and a half! I've now completed going through 700+ pages of the 1984 British Telecom Phone Book for Bournemouth and Poole and added all of the relevant people to the map! You should now find lots of 1984 dates scattered through the properties on the map, maybe someone you know??? Let us know! I had some time on my hands today so I thought I would do some deep digging online to see what I could find! I happened upon a couple of Directories, one from 1911 and another from 1895! The 1911 one was fairly easy to decipher as there was the pre 1938 numbering system used, so that made it quite easy to update a good number of properties!
